How do I care for my product?
Our picnic throw rugs can be washed separately on a cold delicate cycle and its best to lay flat to dry. Make sure not to use any bleach and if needed you can use a cool iron.
Our rugs are woven so be careful around sharp objects so it doesn’t catch on to anything!
You may find the rugs soften after a few washes as well!
Where can I use my picnic throw rug?
You can pretty much use these anywhere! They are great for picnics, camping, at the beach, bed/couch throw or as floor rug.

What are the rugs made from?
Our rugs are woven and made from a recycled cotton/polyester blend. You’re probably wondering what ‘recycled’ polyester is. Much similar to traditional polyester in that it is man-made, recycled polyester is made by breaking down used plastic that is processed and eventually made into a yarn. By using recycled polyester, we hope to lower the environmental impacts by diverting used plastic from landfill and from ending up in the ocean, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions (from creating traditional polyester) and reducing the reliance on virgin petroleum as a raw material
I saw that you use compostable packaging, what does that mean?
The satchels we use to send out your orders are made from home-compostable material which means you can place them in your compost bin as ‘brown’ materials and they will completely break down within 90-120 days!
How do I dispose of the satchels?
To compost the satchel at home, remove any labels and then place it in your compost bin as “brown” materials. These will completely break down within 90-120 days in a home-compostable environment!
If you don’t have a compost you can also take it to a composting facilities to be properly broken down and composted. If you are in Australia, you can find a composter near you HERE.
